Since 2006, Solares Photography Inc., founded by award-winning photographer Armando Solares, has been delivering exceptional photography services. We have had the privilege of working with prestigious clients such as Microsoft, Walt Disney World, ADLM, APIC, NCVH, Florida Power & Light, NextEra Energy, Navy League, Kiva Communications, Atlanta Braves, The Venice Symphony, The Diocese of Florida in Venice, American Library Association, and Miles Partnership, among others.
Armando Solares, based in Southwest Florida, brings a wealth of experience to his craft. After a decade as a photojournalist for the Walt Disney Company, the Kansas City Star, and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, with work featured in TIME, Newsweek, The New York Times, the Dallas Morning News, and other major publications, Solares chose the freedom of freelancing to explore his creative vision.
In 2022, Michael Werner joined Solares Photography Inc. as a partner. Michael Werner is a national award-winning director of photography based in New York City. He travels widely for work and you might catch him anywhere from the Arctic tundra to the rainforests of Africa. His films have earned him a National Edward R. Murrow Award for Documentary, two National American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Kavli Science Journalism Awards, and seven Emmy Awards. His work has been featured nationally and internationally through HBO Films, Netflix, Showtime, PBS Nature, Nat Geo, CBS, MSNBC, Vox, and the Cannes International Film Festival. He is also an FAA-certified professional drone pilot who flies everything from large cinema-grade UAVs to acrobatic FPV drones.
Together, Solares and Werner bring unparalleled expertise and creativity to their projects. They are renowned for their keen eye and unique approach, treating each assignment with dedication and artistry. They capture events and moments unscripted and authentic, preserving intimate memories as they unfold and creating a visual narrative. “We strive to create pictures that people will always remember,” says Solares, underscoring their commitment to capturing the essence of every special moment.
