Editorial: 2008 Presidential Election: Grant Park, Chicago, Celebration
On Tuesday November 4, 2008, tens of thousands gathered together to watch Presidential election results in Chicago's Grant Park. People waited patiently for the results to come in. Most hopeful that their candidate, Senator Barack Obama, would win. As 7:00 pm rolled around and most of the polls closed on the east coast the people in the park began to celebrate every small victory. It was all leading to the election of Senator Barack Obama to the presidency of The United States.
